THE TOUR
Def Leppard's "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge" tour took place in 2008 in support of their 11th studio album, "Songs from the Sparkle Lounge," which was released in April of that year. The album featured a collection of rock songs that harkened back to the band's classic sound and included tracks like "Nine Lives," featuring country music star Tim McGraw, and "C'mon C'mon."

The tour was a significant event for the band and their fans, as it marked their return to a more rock-oriented sound after experimenting with a slightly different musical direction on their previous album, "Yeah!" (2006).

Def Leppard is known for their elaborate stage productions, and this tour was no exception. They incorporated impressive lighting, pyrotechnics, and video screens to enhance the overall concert experience.

Overall, the "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge" tour was a successful and well-received endeavor for Def Leppard, allowing them to reconnect with their rock roots while also celebrating their extensive catalog of hits. It showcased their enduring appeal and solidified their status as one of the iconic rock bands of their era.
