THE TOUR
AC/DC's "Blow Up Your Video" concert tour took place in 1988 in support of their album of the same name, which was released earlier that year. The tour was the band's ninth world tour and featured performances across North America, Europe, and Oceania.

The "Blow Up Your Video" album marked a return to a more traditional hard rock sound for AC/DC after their experimental album "Fly on the Wall." The tour aimed to promote the new album and showcase the band's powerful and energetic live performances, which had become their trademark over the years.

The concert setlist typically included a mix of songs from the "Blow Up Your Video" album, as well as classic AC/DC hits. Some of the notable songs performed during the tour were "Heatseeker," "That's the Way I Wanna Rock 'n' Roll," "Thunderstruck," "Hells Bells," "Back in Black," "Highway to Hell," and many more.

AC/DC's live shows during the "Blow Up Your Video" tour were known for their high-energy performances, with lead guitarist Angus Young captivating the audience with his electrifying guitar solos and schoolboy uniform. Singer Brian Johnson brought his signature raspy vocals, and the rhythm section, consisting of bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Simon Wright, provided a solid foundation for the band's sound.

The stage setup for the tour was relatively simple but effective, featuring a large backdrop with the album cover artwork and a prominent AC/DC logo. The band focused more on delivering their music with raw power rather than elaborate stage theatrics.

Overall, the "Blow Up Your Video" concert tour was a successful venture for AC/DC, solidifying their status as one of the most influential and enduring rock bands of all time. The tour attracted large audiences and received positive reviews from both fans and critics, reaffirming AC/DC's reputation as masters of live performances.
