If you ship records on a regular basis or receive them you’ll know that warping is always a threat if packaged incorrectly.

The idea behind the STIFFY is simple, to create a shipper that doesn’t place pressure on the vinyl and leave the carton to do the work and be rigid, unlike envelope style mailers that rely on the actual record as the stiffener.

When you tape up the STIFFY you’ll notice there’s a lot of “air space” left inside, this is important as trapped air has great thermal stability…. that’s why they doubled glazed windows for instance. Please use simple paper towel or tissue if you need to reduce slight movement but never fold or create a bulge that places pressure on the record. If you wish to use bubble wrap simply cut a sheet to the exact same size as the record and lay it on it. So grab your Stiffys today!
