THE TOUR
In 1988, Mick Jagger, the lead vocalist of The Rolling Stones, embarked on a solo tour of Australia and New Zealand. This tour, often referred to as the "Mick Jagger Solo Tour" or the "She's the Boss Tour," was in support of his debut solo album titled "She's the Boss," which was released in 1985.

Over a 6 week period, the 23 date tour included a series of concerts in various cities across Australia and New Zealand. Jagger's decision to tour without The Rolling Stones was a significant departure from the norm, as he was well-known as the frontman of one of the world's most iconic rock bands.

"She's the Boss" marked Mick Jagger's first foray into solo work, and the album showcased a blend of rock, pop, and dance influences. The tour featured Jagger performing songs from the album as well as other hits and fan favorites. The concerts were a mix of energetic performances, elaborate stage setups, and Jagger's charismatic stage presence.

While Jagger's solo tour received attention and drew crowds, it's important to note that touring without The Rolling Stones was relatively rare for him, and it did not signal the end of his involvement with the band. The Rolling Stones continued to make music and tour together, releasing albums and performing live shows well beyond 1988.

Mick Jagger's solo tour of Australia in 1988 remains a notable moment in his career and a unique opportunity for fans to see him perform in a different context, outside of The Rolling Stones.
